• The SAS 3.0 link extender is specified to be applied in NetApp A400 MetroCluster Stretch configuration
• This link extender allows a total of five-hundred meters of optical fiber cable length between NetApp A400 MetroCluster nodes
• The kit part number is OLB-A3A1A-111 which includes of all the components needed for a ‘end to end’ SAS connectivity solution. This includes two of each of the following five parts- (Extender Box, DC Power Supply, MiniSAS HD AOC, QSFP Transceiver and NEMA 5-15R to C14 AC Power Cord)
• Purchasing single parts allowed only for the specific cases (e.g. after sales service)
• The single-mode cable is a standard duplex-LC cable that can be purchased from many suppliers or may be part of the data-center cabling infrastructure and is not included in this kit
